We have done MRI for almost two decades. Dr. Chao started doing MRI in 1984 when he was chief resident at Downstate Medical Center in New York City. Pediatric MRI is the hardest because children can be uncooperative and often have to be sedated. Our facilities are the best equipped to monitor and take good care of our patients. We have an InVivo 3150 monitor which is designed to work at 3T.
We can create virtual environments in the office to soothe our patients of any age. And we have video games with a dedicated TV with headphones for the kids to play with. We have a NEC Turbographix and and Nintendo 64 for the children to stay occupied while their parents might be having an MRI study.
We also have an espresso machine for our patients and coffee. If you are anxious there is a spa in the building upstairs. (Solutions SPA 302-998-4000) You can schedule a massage or aromatherapy before your study.
